We’re bringing a hand-picked group of individuals together to immerse themselves in the soul that runs through the cities of Salvador de Bahia & Rio de Janeiro.

ITINERARY
day 1: WELCOME TO BAHIA!
Olá! You’re finally here! We’ll whisk you away from Salvador–Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA) after your arrival into the city and take you to your accommodations. After you get settled into your new digs, we’ll introduce you to the rest of your crew for the week; an intimate group of individuals from all over the world ready to experience Brazil’s culture and history. As a group, we’ll all head to our welcome dinner and kick off our new journey together.
day 2: afro-brazilian exploring!
The best way to get to know a destination is by gaining a bit of its history. Today, we’ll be taking you on a tour that gives you a deep dive into Bahia’s roots. We’ll immediately immerse ourselves in the local culture by trekking through the city to visit historical landmarks, sampling traditional foods, learning about the people, visiting the world famous Pelourinho, and getting our first taste of Brazilian hospitality with a local lunch.
day 3: afropunk IN bahia
You’ll be spending the day partying with the locals at AFROPUNK’s only festival outside of the United States! Feel the music, free your mind, and enjoy an incredible lineup of ground breaking icons and emerging talents in art, culture, and fashion.
Check out the bespoke Afro-Brazilian art & textiles, crafts, apparel, the pop-up dining installations and much more while on the festival grounds.
DAY 4: LET’S GO TO RIO!
We’ll be packing our bags and changing locations as we head to Rio! Today is the perfect opportunity to discover some of the things that make the city so great. Get to know your new travel companions, check out that cool spot your friends back home recommended, stop by the local markets or hang out at the beach or poolside at our lush accommodations. Today is your day to do as you please. In the evening, we’ll enjoy dinner at one of Rio’s famous restaurants and start our second half of the trip!
day 5: CITY VIEWS & BEACHES TOO
Today, we'll hit the streets of Rio for a walking tour of the city, visiting the local markets, and checking out must-see landmarks like Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and much more.
In the evening, you’ll have free time to enjoy a Caipirinha on the beach and watch the sun set over the Copacabana shores.
DAY 6: YES CHEF!
Today we’ll chop, sauté, and savor our way through the vibrant flavors of Brazil with an immersive cooking class. We’ll learn the secrets behind crafting traditional Brazilian dishes and delight our taste buds with the tantalizing aromas and bold spices that define this culinary paradise. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned chef, our cooking class promises an unforgettable taste of Brazil's diverse culinary heritage.
DAY 7: FAVELA VIBES & SAMBA
We’ll start our day exploring the vibrant and resilient community of a local favela with a guided tour to get a deeper understanding of the culture and daily life within these colorful neighborhoods.
In the evening, we'll come together one last time for a celebratory farewell dinner in Lapa, the center of Rio’s nightlife. To work up an appetite for dinner, we’ll have a samba lesson and learn some of the iconic steps and movements from seasoned instructors.
Let our last meal together as a travel crew be a time to reflect on the unforgettable week Brazil gave you, and for the memorable experience you gave yourself.
DAY 8: IT'S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE
We know, it feels like you just got here, but it’s time to say goodbye. Use today to check off those final items on your list before it’s time to head home. The week may have flown by, but the memories and friendships you've made will last forever.

Brazil’s beaches are second to none and you'll have full access to enjoy the unbelievably blue waves and warm sands. Soak in the sun, the views and the soothing sounds of the water. You'll return home with a tan that will make all of your friends envious they didn't join you!

Your homes away from home for the week are lush accommodations in each location on our itinerary, but they are all just a stone’s throw from popular attractions. You'll find they’re the perfect place to relax and lay your head after a day of exploring in the city. And yes, there's wifi!
